Potential Careers
The Business Administration major prepares students for a wide range of careers in business, government and not-for-profit organizations. It is a general management degree that features required and elective courses from all College of Management majors.
A Business Administration degree can play an integral role in achieving an executive position withn a company or organization because the graduate will acquire the organizational, communicaton and critical-thinking skills necessary to be successful in a management position. Students in this major will develop knowledge and skills in a variety of areas including organizational behavior, motivation, leadership, marketing, finance, operations, management, communication, teamwork, group processes and information systems.

Courses
Courses are offered via Web-Enhanced format, combining face-to-face classroom meetings with online learning. The instructor uses the course Web site to support the class.
Generally, classes meet every-other-week with half of the course activity taking place in the classroom and the other half taking place online. In between class meetings, students are involved in online activities such as participating in discussion forums, taking quizzes, and conducting research. Courses are primarily offered in the evenings.
